Here we have a very rare camera, the Pontiac Super Lynx I with Som Berthiot Paris Flor 50mm F/2.8. This camera is functional and in excellent condition.

The Pontiac Super Lynx I is a French camera from 1948. Made of aluminum, brass, and other metals, it is a rare and precious camera that is fully mechanical.

The Som Berthiot Flor 50mm f/2.8 lens is rare and in good condition. There is no fungus or scratches on the glass, though there is some rainbowing of the coating which does not impact photos from my experience. The aperture works beautifully, as does the focusing mechanism.

The shutter works correctly, though slow speeds may be inaccurate. I can’t say exactly, however the sample photos in my article linked above show that all is generally well.
