Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex "Coffee Can" 120 Medium Format TLR Camera - Fully Functional
Here we have a gorgeous Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex TLR with strap.
This is the original Zeiss TLR made in 1937, referred to by collectors as "the coffee can" due to its interesting body shape. It is a beautiful Art Deco machine made of brass and glass and steel, a true heirloom object these days.
It is in good vintage condition cosmetically, with wear and patina as seen in the photos, and is mechanically fully functional.
This particular Ikoflex is model 850/16 E and features a Zeiss Ikon Novar f/6.3 lens and a Derval shutter. This leaf shutter is capable of speeds from 1/25th of a second to 1/100th of a second, plus Bulb and Timed exposure mode.
Both lenses are in great condition. The glass elements are free of fungus, haze, scratches, and all other optical anomalies. The aperture actuates beautifully and the aperture blades are unmarred. The leaf shutter blades are free of oil and corrosion and actuate perfectly at all shutter speeds.
The focus action is smooth and precise, and the waist level viewfinder is clean and sharp. Magnifier works as it should. Frame advance counter works correctly, as do all other knobs, dials, levers, and switches.
This camera is a legend in the world of photography, and one of the finest TLRs ever made. It is a true photographic masterpiece that is ready to shoot for another lifetime.
It will be carefully packaged and shipped immediately.
