The glass is clean and clear with no marks, scratches, fungus, or optical coating issues. The aperture blades are snappy and free of oil and actuate exactly as they should. The focus ring spins as it should in both manual and auto-focus modes. The built-in lens hood is perfect.

This prime lens is an exceptional performer on account of Minolta's exceptional engineering, design, and optical coatings. It will make a wonderful addition to either a film photographer or digital photographer's gear.

Mount this lens to a 35mm film camera or a full frame digital camera and use the wide angle to create wonderful landscape, architectural, and street shots. Or mount it on a crop-sensor digital camera and the focal length becomes approximately 42mm, which is a perfect standard focal length for snap shots, street photography, and general shooting.
