It is in excellent condition and comes with its original lens cap, a beautiful leatherette cap with draw string cord.

The lens elements are clean and free of damage, scratches, dust, fungus, and haze. The aperture blades are snappy and free of oil. The focus ring spins with beautifully weighted fluidity in manual focus mode, and works perfectly in autofocus mode. The mount is unmarred.

This lens allows for shooting a super wide field of view, enabling the photographer to capture images with massive scope. It's an exceptionally sharp lens with beautiful contrast and color rendition, and the multi-coated glass does very well to mitigate optical aberrations such as color fringing and ghosts and flares.

The lens features built in filters (orange, UV, yellow, and blue) and these actuate perfectly. They allow instant switching for black-and-white contrast boosts, or for accentuating certain areas of the light spectrum with color shooting.

This lens will naturally mount to any Minolta A mount camera. These include any Minolta 35mm film camera capable of mounting A mount lenses. It can also be used on Sony A series DSLRs and can also be easily adapted to today's mirrorless digital cameras by using a simple and affordable adapter.
