This flash works perfectly and has been thoroughly tested. It will work on any Minolta A mount camera, as well as Sony's A mount cameras (featuring the proprietary hot shoe), but please confirm that it will work for your camera before purchasing to avoid any inconvenience.

The Maxxum 4000 AF provides normal coverage for lenses ranging from 28-70mm. It has a guide number of 39 meters (131 feet) at ISO 100, and its operation is automatically controlled by the camera's flash command program.

TTL metering and an AF illuminator offer exceptional power control and accuracy in AF shooting. It uses 4 AA batteries (not included).
