The aspherical lens elements and extra low dispersion glass combine with variable apertures from F/5.6-12/6 to ensure very sharp images. An 11-point autofocus system allows simple, intuitive focus on subjects even when not in the center of the frame.

A self-timer and informative LCD display round out the feature set.
