Mechanically this particular camera is perfect. Everything functions exactly as it should. Build is tight and refined, without wear or damage. All levers, dials, switches, and knobs actuate exactly as they should. 

The viewfinder is clean and clear. The film compartment is clean and free of dirt, damage and corrosion. The lens is perfect, with no marring, balsam separation, fungus, haze, or cleaning marks. 

The flash works correctly.

The Olympus Ecrut is a unique design from one of Japan's most interesting designers, Naoki Sakai of Water Design. It is small, well-built, sophisticated, and offers an extremely sharp lens matched to a striking body.

It is based on the Olympus Mju (original Infinity Stylus in some markets), so shooting is simple and images are excellent. Simply point and shoot, and let the auto-exposure, auto-focus, and automatic film transport systems make amazing images every shot.
